Bio: Jim Gordon was the man who ended most corruption in law enforcement in Gotham City when he became Commissioner. Since then, his desire is to help bring Gotham City back to its original glory of years past. Jim has firm beliefs in the importance of perseverance, and working to retain what you love. For him, this means also what little family he has. Specifically his daughter Barbara Gordon.
Even with Commissioner Jim's desire to drive the police force to be the best they can be, he is willing to work with the Batman if Jim feels a situation is too large for them to handle within reasonable time, or if there’s a crime urgent enough for someone with the smarts as Batman to help solve.
