Name: Julian Gregory Day
Alter Ego: Calendar Man
Moral Compass: Naughty
Character Type: Canon
Birthplace: Gotham City
Personality:
Day suffers from schizotypal personality disorder, with ideas of reference focusing around the calendar. According to Arkham, he believes the major dates of Gregorian calendar mark times when he is personally and uniquely freed from societal norms. On these dates, he exhibits mildly sociopathic, frequently criminal behavior. He often wears costumes to correlate with the date of the designated crime.
His crimes always have a relationship to the date that they are committed. The theme may be related to what day of the week it is or to a holiday or to a special anniversary on that date; he will plan his crime around that day. He relies on intellect and cunning rather than brute strength in direct conflict, but he can handle himself in a fight.

Bio:
As a youth, Julian Day's father promised he would be home for the holidays. Taking a bus to wait for him at the station, Day waited from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day. When the police took Julian in, he was almost dead from exposure. Saved on New Year’s Day, he began to associate literal meanings with each day.
It wasn’t long after that both of his parents, the absent father and apathetic mother, met grisly ends on Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, respectively.
With a number of scholarships from a variety of groups and organizations focused on providing aid to underprivileged students, Julian was sent away to school. Highly intelligent, but dangerously unstable, Day became withdrawn and developed severe mood swings. He returned to Gotham in his mid-twenties, trading college for crime.
Through the years, Day’s malfeasance has evolved. Sometimes playful, sometimes malevolent, his machinations can - quite literally - change with the seasons; the two constants in his villainy are an obsession with the Gregorian calendar and the symbolism of events and holidays. He’s posed as entertainers and educators, engineered weapons ranging from blades to bombs, and fought vigilantes and villains while working towards his goal, whatever it may be...
His most famous (read: infamous) deeds fell during the so-called “Long Halloween,” where he was the prime suspect in the “Holiday Murders,” though he had been in Arkham for the entirety of the gang war. Though Day often pointed out that he had been in Arkham for nearly two years prior to that first pumpkin appearing in Johnny Viti’s bathroom, his involvement is still suspected, still whispered, in certain circles. Some said he was the true killer, pinning the crimes on Alberto Falcone to avoid backlash from the crime families, and others maintained he was a consultant or an informant, feeding information to the police - and Batman.
The years to follow and the “Hangman Murders” served to push him further outside the circle of Gotham’s criminal elite, the rogues and their ilk.
